For those that say F/P can't hunt firebrands

That's me herding all the firebrand heads around the map while they died from poison and then using explosion to deal 1 damage =D. Got the 75 needed pretty quick.

It's faster just to use Fire Demon and meteo them.

This must be the greatest discovery in years! ./sarcasm

To be really honest with you, this was truly unnecessary. This has been known ever since CWK came out last summer. >_>

If you're pro enough, try dual channeling them.

it was not a discovery, this is not the OMG general chat forum or the training center. It's a forum to post screenshots of whatever you may find will entertain/amuse other people in the forum, you are free to come and say you don't like it or don't find it amusing, but learn to post according to each forum section you are (as an example of what not to do, look at Harrisonized's posts on the Funhouse).

Don't look at me. I'm entitled to post my own opinions. Biggrin

(And I agree with Will, this WAS unnecessary. It's the equivalent of someone posting a random CPQ picture. Has absolutely no meaning for the people who are going to see it.)

That would suck, considering they send you to the gate when you CC. Poast

It doesn't matter, as it'd still save time if you do multiple channels. It takes like 6 seconds to get to that map with teleport and a mount. That's obviously faster than the ~40 seconds it takes for the poisoned monsters to go down to 1 hp. As a FP Mage, you should never stay around for the monsters HP to fall to 1 because then you'd be wasting time and taking unnecessary damage (assuming you stay in that map, the firebrands WILL follow and hit you unless you're teleporting but then you're wasting time).

yea.

If they weren't fire immune, it'd make more sense just to kill them off and let new ones be poisoned than to switch to a new channel.

The first form isn't fire immune. You'd have to kill the first form before the second form spawns. If you change all the first form to second form (in other words, kill off the first form), then there's only second forms flying around.

What the TS appears to be doing is sticking around for 40 seconds for the poison to bring HP down to 1, and that's wasting time.

Once you change all of the first forms to second forms and poison them in the first channel, it'd make sense to go to a new channel while the second forms in the first channel are still being poisoned, so that you can kill the fresh first forms in the second channel.

After doing changing the first forms to second forms in the second channel and poisoning the second forms, you'd then go back to first channel. The second forms in the first channel should be in the same spot as you left them, since for some reason, monsters don't move if you're not in the map. It'd be pretty easy to go to a mob of them, kill them off with your 1 damage explosion, and then kill off fresh first forms that spawn after killing off all the second forms.

Actually, the size of that map would allow him to tri-channel if he didn't end up in the main room when he cc'd. If they weren't fire immune, using explosion in addition to poison mist would be more efficient.

That's what I meant, you could Explosion to kill the first group faster than the poison would do it on its own. It would probably take less time than CCing and teleporting back to the map.

I believe the F/P class was designed so that Poison Mist would be used in the way Outlaws use Octopus - damage support while you kill with Explosion. Obviously this would suck, though.
