Wedding EXP?

In the Strategywiki description of Premium weddings, it says that the guests may "bless" the couple, who will then get some exp at the candle/cake hunting stage ("Untamed Hearts Hunting Ground").

Does anyone know whether the "blessing" option exists in Regular, not Premium, weddings, too? And if it does, at what point do the couple get the EXP?

(Yeah, getting married soon, thinking of going in with 99.98% and levelling there).

In my first Maple wedding (shortly after they first came out) I got married to a friend and he wanted to level to 100 during the wedding. If I recall he missed his level up since he levelled in the transition to the photo taking map. I'm not sure if it's changed now but it's worth asking others who've tried the same to see what's happened for them.

I believe it's only available in Cathedral weddings of both types, not Chapel. not totally sure on this though.

And, as I recall, it's a very low amount of EXP, so you'd have to be like 100 EXP away from leveling to actually ensure you do level. Also your buddies have to not be asses to you by not blessing as a joke or whatever.

Thank you, Isaac. I was planning on getting within a snail or two of levelling, I should have enough non-ass buddies for that...
But do you have an answer for the WHEN question? Would I level like Manda's first husband, in transition to the cake?
