Characters Lv. 33 and above can begin the event by accepting the quest '[Countdown] Together, Good-bye' from the event notifier on the left side of the screen, or by talking to NPC Cassandra. You’ll travel to the Good-bye Hill map where a countdown board ticks away the hours until the New Year! Relax and spend some with other Maplers while you wait for 2018 to arrive!

Once the countdown completes, a Special Shop will become available for only one hour at the following times:

• PST: Sunday, December 31, 2017 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
  
• EST: Sunday, December 31, 2017 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  
• CET: Monday, January 1, 2018 1:00 AM - 2:00 AM
  
• AEDT: Monday, January 1, 2018 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  

The shop sells some limited-quantity items available for mesos, so get the goodies before someone else does. Pick up some trait items, restorative items, Explorer Random Face or Hair Coupons, a New Year's 3x EXP Coupon, a Happy New Year! Buff (gives Weapon ATT/Magic ATT +30 for 15 minutes), or a Happy New Year mount (permanent and 90-day versions available)!

Log in with a character Lv. 30 or above, and click the gift box icon on the left side of the screen to receive a Gift Box, and then double-click the box in your inventory to open it. Once you receive the gift box, you can open it anytime before 1:00 AM PST / 4:00 AM EST / 10:00 AM CET / 8:00 PM AEDT of the following day. If you have more than 30 unclaimed gifts, you may not be able to see the Hot Day reward. Please clear any unclaimed gifts and login again to see the Hot Day reward. All rewards are for both Reboot and non-Reboot worlds unless specifically noted below.

So... the store sold the usual +30 trait items, with limited quantity of course. Nexon, however, Nexon-ed, because they allowed people to buy multiple quantities of the same thing i.e. someone could buy 99 premium cologne multiple times, effectively 1 person with enough money and Use space could wipe out the store.

Well looks like other sources have confirmed something that I've encountered as well. Did a bit of waiting to see if it would be encountered on the official forums and on reddit.

Explorer Face/Hair coupons are bugged this year. Then again, not bloody surprised either.

I seem to recall them being bugged in some way last year as well.

I wasn't even able to buy anything even as I entered at the very first few seconds of the shop opening. It's as if the purchase limits didn't get reset since last year

By the way, was I awfully blind and didn't see the Arcane Symbols in the Nova shop until now? Or were they meant to come out on Wed/Thur? Regardless, get them NOW before the shop refreshes those limits.

They've been there since season 2 of the shop started, December 20th.

Me too, i thought it could be some change to these, but i went in my blaster who wasn't created at the time and i couldn't, so i guess all or most itens weren't limited by your character, but a limited amount to everyone.

Couldn't get x3 cupons, what was nexon thinking?
