I seriously doubt Nexon has any intention whatsoever to spend development resources making Bits useful.
Pretty sure this was initiated by the MLC itself, for no good reason I can fathom.

Actually that is happening in China MS (S rank neb available) and to add insult to the injury, Nexon NA told about the 2nd Nebulite socket being available in some time after the Nebulites came out.

Nexon NA killed the system badly... still I have some faith on it since it has a lot of potential.

I really like the idea of bits, I think the concept works well for collectibles, but it's so poorly implemented.

First, it shouldn't be temporary, I don't want to collect things I ultimately lose. Second, instead of those 3x4 or 4x4 or whatever size bit boxes, have an album or something. Have all your bits be there, and let's say you can only choose one set to be active at a time. Have basic sets that can be obtained via normal game play, like boss drops or quests, with unique seasonal event bits (which have limited releases later on for die hard collectors). Basically, it's monster book but with pretty pictures instead of monster cards.

But I think the best thing to do with bits is to scrap the concept entirely. It's unnecessary, they give poor stats, it takes too much effort to get them, they expire, and maybe I haven't been following closely enough, but KMS hasn't released any new bits in years. One of the more recent bit boxes we got gave pieces of that Christmas themed image with DS and Mercedes, which I think was around shortly after Legends, which was like, 4 years ago, and I'm not saying that in a "Oh, it was 4 years before we finally got it" sort of way, we had it back then too. And it was only slightly more popular then than it is now (and that's just because it was new).

Honestly, I think it's time Nexon think about trimming away the fat.

Thinking about monster card, i guess it's better to revamp monster card them Rolleyes, maybe give more status, have more stats per set, GMS could have some sets for our exclusive places too, then most mobs/bosses would have a card and you could check its drops.
EditAngryDark Zero maybe they could do more neb slots if the eqp level is higher, like, until lv30 1 slot, until lv70 2 slots, and 71+ 3 slots, or maybe 120+ 3 slots :f6:.

All that really needs to happen is for the sets to actually increase with the level-up of the codex, like it actually does in jMS.

make them permanent event equip which gives event skills with not much stats like the sengoku high one

For the monster book set effects? It's the same, they never actually level up, even in jMS. It seems like it was supposed to, because they defined stats for each level, but they've never enabled that. Oh, also they removed the 30% Ignore DEF from the Leafre set and replaced it with +20% Mesos Obtained, meaning the highest ignore DEF you can get is 15%, from various sets.

The old crusader codex had much more detail, i wonder if they revamp it will have similar details :f6:? Since there are too much mobs in maple now, i don't know if it's possible.
