A mysterious site has appeared near Saint’s Haven, and inside it the soldiers from Mistlands are training. But no one can approach in their natural form. Use your Monster Encyclopedia to transform into a monster, and now you can enter the mysterious Citadel of Erosion! Head off the many foes, and then go head-to-head with the boss at the center.


Collecting Monster Cards
In order to enter the Citadel of Erosion, you must have a Monster Encyclopedia with at least one Monster Card registered. Monster Cards can be obtained by clearing any of the following nests: Minotaur Nest, Cerberus Nest (Abyss), Manticore Nest (Abyss), Apocalypse Nest (Abyss), Archbishop Nest (Abyss), and Titan Nest (Abyss). Right-click the card to register it in the encyclopedia. You can view all of your registered cards by selecting “Menu (N)-->Collection (Home)” to see the encyclopedia.

It’s a Monster Party!
You need to create a “monster party” in order to enter the Citadel. There are two ways to do this. You can select “Community-->Create Party-->Create Monster Party”, or you can click “Select Monster” next to the Eroded Gateway itself to create a monster party. Then select one of your Monster Cards to enter. Be warned--if someone in your party hasn’t selected a monster, you won’t be able to enter the Citadel! If you don’t have any Monster Cards you won’t be able to create a monster party or join another player’s party.

Smash Those Monsters
Once inside, your goal is to defeat all of the monsters within the Citadel of Erosion! You need to act fast—you’ve only got 3 minutes! You can extend the time limit during battle. Smash through the monsters before the time is up to earn a high score. The higher your score, the more likely you will enter Fever Mode! Whenever you earn 3,000 points, you will enter Fever Mode. If you unlock it multiple times in a row, you’ll gain increased Attack Speed and Movement Speed and restore HP!


- Recommended Level: 60 and above
- Party Size: 1 – 2 Players
- Portal Location: Saint’s Haven-->Gateway of Boundary (where the Dark Gateway was previously located) -->Eroded Gateway-->Citadel of Erosion
NOTE: You can still enter the existing Dark Gateway, but you can’t enter the Edge of Darkness anymore.
- You can enter twice per week.

Rewards:
- Emblem of Erosion: Earn a different Emblem of Erosion based on your progress and score! Then exchange emblems at Goblynn’s Citadel of Erosion Shop for nifty items:
- Monster Nucleus: Used to enhance a monster registered in the Monster Encyclopedia.
- Wellspring Pouch: Pouch containing a Wellspring that’s useful in nests.
- Eruption Wellspring Pouch: Pouch containing a Lv. 80 Eruption Wellspring that’s useful in the Volcano Nest! There’s also a chance to receive a unique Erosion Wellspring.
