Reminds me of the way my dad cooks omelettes. 99% of the time it's not on the burner, he puts it on the burner for a second at a time then lets it cool and repeats, it takes him like 20 minutes to make something it takes me 3 to make. He even sticks it in the toaster oven for some reason, pan and all, sometimes I walk down and see a pan's handle sticking out of the closed toaster oven and wonder if he is going senile.

Probably- but if the pans were hot enough already from the heat from the burners (I can't even say because all of the maids waiting for the cake have the damn pans off the flame), it's possible!
