I missed this show.

Now we know what happens when equality gets taken too far.

Finally got to watch it and I don't think she'll be the main villian but I can see her joining forces with other villians as they go fixing things, also I don't get what was she trying to do, she did say it took her a while to learn the spell but for what purpose? It didn't look like she had that much power over them and I don't see she gaining anything else from doing it but then again it is a saturday morning cartoon and we all know how they love to make their villians as shallow as they can.

Starlight Glimmer was surprisingly deep for a Saturday Morning Villain. Definitely doesn't help her motives and actions can totally be seen being done by a real life person.

Yeah but the people that do the stuff she was doing would get something(money, sex, a horde of mindless drones to do their bidding) or actually belive in it, which could be the case until she starts calling them names for going back to how they used to be.

The Y was supposedly political power, since she had a line where she said if she could get Twilight under her control then she can use her to spread her agenda. With political power usually follows fame/connections/control/money.

Too much DFO last week killed my sleep schedule so I missed the steam of Pony. Thank god for Youtube.

Season 5 Episode 3 Castle Sweet Castle

Overall episode was cute as hell. All the small touches and callbacks were sweet as well. I was laughing so hard at the Bulk Biceps scene as well as poofy Angel.

Only miss was the song was good, but not epic/amazing like last week's. Not the worst thing, of course.

When I heard sweetie belle say "apple related cutie mark" it made me think of friendship is witchcraft, also inception, laying egg rooster, also knew it wouldn't just be just a bad dream when the bugs started destroying everything but some sort of moral story with luna behind it, quite interesting the other two were dreaming about their actual talents until the dream became a nightmare.

Wek. Too much DFO in my spare time made me fall behind on the Ponies.

Quick thoughts overall: Season 5 has been pretty based. I was worried that they ran out of steam after Season 4, but boy am I so glad to be wrong. Also Discord reminds me why he's so popular a character after that Gala incident.
