Is Normal Zak no longer dropping things?

I just killed him twice consecutively on my new BM and on both kills he dropped absolutely nothing. No pots, no Zakum weapons, no helmets, nothing. Was fine yesterday, so I'm a little bit confused.

Anyone else experience something similar?

Happened to me once on my night walker. But other than that one time, I've had full drops. It might just be an occasional thing and you've been unlucky

I found it happening on all bosses as of the Star Force update. At times, the bosses will drop nothing at all.

I've heard people complaining of it happening before this patch, as well.

I believe it's a form of party glitch. The game thinks you're not in the party that killed the boss, so you can't see its drops.
If that is the case, the drops should become visible after about 2:45 minutes. Try waiting it out?

I had this happen with Hilla the other day; I never even thought of that.

Nope, that's not it.

Happened to me just now at normal Zakum, with two guildies. None of us saw anything drop.
Waited and watched for 4 minutes, nothing appeared (for any of us).

I'm killing Normal in about 30 seconds and still getting drops. I actually haven't seen this happen in months. myself.

I do Zak twice a day, usually. I get it no drops roughly every 2 or 3 kills.

I did two runs today; the first took a bit longer than usual because I accidentally didn't kill the top right arm and had to climb back up. It took ~35 seconds. I got drops off of that one.
During the second run I popped that one BM Hyper and didn't pineapple up, and that took about 20 seconds. No drops. When I first made this thread after I got double no drops I think those were both sub 30 second kills as well.

Either my luck is really awful or there's some kind of trigger for this that I keep somehow causing.
