The holidays have come to Maple World! From December 10 to January 6 we're hosting a bunch of joyous seasonal activities for you to enjoy. Dress like Santa or Rudolph, visit Happyville, or decorate a Christmas Tree, plus much, much more! Step under the mistletoe and check out all the details below.

Wednesday, December 10 – Tuesday, January 6

Happyville is back! Access it by speaking to Rooney in the Event Hall. Track down Santa so Christmas happens without a hitch. Battle Noonoo, the giant snowman, to assist Mrs. Claus. Help Cliff prepare for his fancy party and be rewarded with Cliff’s Special Potion, an elixir that turns you into a pet or a monster and allows you to enter Santa's shop. Collect items for the Festival of Lights with Hannah and receive a Hanukkah Present that includes Gelt Chocolate, a Golden Hammer 50\%, or winter buffs!



Nut Case Event

Wednesday, December 3 – Tuesday, January 20

Nut Cases are dropping from monsters in Maple World! Open to receive random items such as Chaos scrolls, Nut Coins, or the White Mage Snowfield Mount. You can also earn Nut Coins from various holiday events. Then talk to Roasty in the Event Hall to see what items you can get in the Nut Coin Shop! The shop is well-stocked with 9th Anniversary equips, scrolls, mounts, chairs, and more!



Christmas Everywhere

Wednesday, December 10 – Tuesday, January 6

Click the Christmas event notifier on the left-side of the game window and receive a daily Christmas costume! Dress up as Rudolph, a Snowman, Santa, or Decked-Out Santa!



Shining Santa Boxes!

Wednesday, December 10 – Tuesday, January 6

Hunt monsters in your level range for the chance to obtain a Shining Santa Box, which includes Nut Coins, Rudolph’s Red Nose face accessory, buffs, Gingerbread Cookies, or a 7-day Santa Sled Mount coupon! Someone's been nice this year!



Decorate the Christmas Tree

Wednesday, December 10 – Tuesday, January 6

Collect Christmas Decorations from monsters and use them to decorate the Christmas Tree in town! Once you've got the tree all nice and shiny, you'll be able to receive Nut Coins, Gingerbread Cookies, or Christmas buffs.



Receive a Gift in the Christmas Stocking

Wednesday, December 10 – Tuesday, January 6

Take an Empty Christmas Stocking and put it in the Item Pot. Feed it 10 Etc items to put it to sleep. After 30 minutes, it will transform into a Gift-filled Christmas Stocking! Get Nut Coins, Spell Traces, Bonus Potential Scrolls, and more! Stockings: like a sock, but with more gifts inside!



Cassandra's Christmas Present

Thursday, December 25

Cassandra has a Christmas present for you! And all she needs is for you to eliminate a few hundred pesky monsters. Complete to receive a Christmas Present containing a Merry Christmas medal, a Merry Christmas Damage Skin, some Gingerbread Man Cookies, and, if you’re Lv. 200 or above—a Christmas Miracle medal!

For a long time re-runs of the original events were exactly what the Maple community asked for.

I wouldn't necessarily say it's what people asked for, and that it's even what we wanted. However, if people did ask for it, then it's probably players who are long gone. These are archaic events that offer no purpose for the current state of the game. They're slightly updated versions, I'll admit, but not worth doing at all most of the time. Even for new players. The only one I know that is somewhat worthwhile is collecting the red encyclopedia on a level 20 or so character to get an easy level or two. That's about it.
