120hz vs IPS?
#21
Dusk Wrote:Did it happen with your other monitor at all? I would check GPU settings and monitor settings, but seeing a lot of blurring probably indicates that your pixel response times (i.e., the time it takes for a pixel to go from dark to light and vice versa) are really awful. Do you also notice any input lag? IPS panels do tend to be slower than TN panels on average, but good ones shouldn't be noticeably slow.

8ms pixel response time, here. The odd thing though is that other owners of this monitor (the QNIX 2710) seem to be reporting zero smearing. I find that hard to believe, but... Input lag, no. This is a passthrough type monitor, so its very very low. Good for gaming, if you can get past the smearing. I'm coming from a TN panel with less smearing, so that may be why I'm noticing it more here.

I just want to make sure that this issue is inherent to all QNIX 2710 monitors and not just mine, as I have a warranty on the panel.
