1. It's a huge coincidence
2. The music director for Sonic 3 copied the song.
3. Ice Cap's theme is such an over-remixed song that it actually went back in time.

Hard Times was unreleased and later rehashed by Brad Buxer in Sonic 3 for what we know as Ice Cap Zone.

Buxer was also the keyboardist for The Jetzons.

I like this song more than I do the Icecap track. Blue sphere is probably my favorite Sonic 3 track.

Mmhm. The key was to only spin dash enough so that you didn't launch too high and waste time before the wall crushed you.

I was always partial to Flying Battery Act 1.
