Do Masteryl Books still drop from enemies?

17 million per skill may be chump change for some of you, but it's a steep price for someone like me who only has 50 million meso. (And so far, only has one skill at 30 thanks to someone dropping a 30 Mastery book, and one at 20.)

So might I be able to try my hand at farming for them like in the old days? Or are the NPCs the only way to get them now?

They appear to have been removed from monster drops entirely according to the codex entries for most mobs. Codex also says nearly every mob in existence drops Master Craftsman Cubes.
