what's the red tickets do anyway? o-o I couldn't get all of them because i got IP banned in the middle and they have the "you get x amount and you win things!" but doesn't really explain anything.

Most of us are assuming it's for Red coins, which is used to purchsase stuff from the RED update shop.

Some believe they are black friday coins and Nexon was just too lazy to change the name of the ticket. The first one seems a lot more likely, but I wouldn't rule out the second one due to nexon's track record and that no other part of the world celebrates black friday.

Some other people think it has to do with either level-ups or the initial level of some new character.
I've also heard speculation that it's scrolls (% success).

I thought the annoucement was, "whatever day the most people log on for, we will give out twice". turns out lots of people got hats maybe? I was gonna guess the familiars day.

Seems like Nexon has not responded in that particular thread since the maintenance, but Update Notes have not been ninja edited to correct their mistake.

This is what they said:

Log in on Wednesday, October 30 and click the gift box icon on the left side of your game window to receive all of the previous Hot Days’ rewards from October 23-29."

Stereo meant in game, the little notice said something along the lines of you would get the reward you got the most.

Yeah. Which makes no sense if you read the "you" as singular, but if it's plural it suddenly does, and is as Stereo read it.

I never saw any in game notices, but I am sure it was done long after the orignal post.

It wasn't an in-game notice, it was on the gift box descriptions:

This text was put in by the developers, and seems consistent with what the boxes are doing (assuming Sunday had the most boxes claimed).
The Update Notes were created by someone who somehow got the wrong impression.

And nobody at Nexon thought to check on this, despite many players expressing disbelief ("we really get everything twice?") ever since the Update Notes came out.

Ah alright, I did not pay any attention to that particular text. Thanks for clearing it up.

Nexon's response

We explained the incorrect information in the post to the developers and asked if the remaining boxes could be given out because of it, and they agreed to give them out on November 12, the last day of Hot Week 2. They said they will need a little bit of time to fix the bug many people experienced with the 10/25 Hot Day box, and we don't want that bug messing up the collection of boxes before it can be fixed.

Looks like the last days were only supposed to pick one of the seven we got during the week. Well, at least they actually are planning to compensate us instead of, "Oops, that was intended, but we were too lazy to double check. Sorry for the inconvenience."

Looks like the last days were only supposed to pick one of the seven we got during the week. Well, at least they actually are planning to compensate us instead of, "Oops, that was intended, but we were too lazy to double check. Sorry for the inconvenience."

Well they did "fix" the notes as to you would get all the boxes of the next week on its last day but at least they're giving out the stuff they weren't able to check forehand.

Still 3/4 free character slots, I call that a win.
