does that mean she'll have to awaken again for the final two? or will Nexon Korea just release them without any story explanation for the huge delay?

I'm guessing the latter.
That being said though, I wonder what traumatic event would cause a second awakening? maybe she gets woken up too early.

I think your headcanon is most likely canon, i'm sure I remember hearing that her empress powers are a drain on her and it's why she's always resting. (and why she doesn't rest as much once she awakens)

So.. magical narcolepsy, but more or less the same!

Just means that she's still sleepy. See, she's always sleeping on Shinsoo, dream-talking the same thing every time you talk to her.
