Touhou 14 - Double Dealing Character

So, Touhou 14 has been released. Who else has gotten it? I played the demo, and I have to say again that the boss patterns are more difficult earlier on than the previous entries. Loving the character designs too.


Also, is it just me or am I unable to bomb while focusing? This happened in the demo and it's happening again D:

I just cleared wolfie without dying which is odd considering the last time I fought her I died twice. Being unable to bomb while focusing is horrifying and I have no idea what's causing that to happen.

Yeah...um, that was interesting. But it gets more hilarious in stage 6! I really have no idea what she's based off of. The first 3 bosses are obvious...then it gets wonky.

any clue when the translators will have the translation up and running? they did it VERY fast for the demo so i'd like to know if they planned to do the same here

When I played two days ago, the game was in mostly english.

The 'unable to bomb while focused' sounds similar to a problem I've had with z/x button games for ages on this laptop.
Eventually figured out it was a ghosting problem. Only workaround I've got is practice.
As for Stage 5, the left/right flip and the rotation cards give me the most problems.

Completely forgot about it due to FF14 being around the corner. Getting it now. :3

Stage 4 boss. Holy pineapple. Stage 5 boss makes me want to rip my hair out.

I'm gettin old. I can't 1cc the game on normal it seems. :\

The reverse girl's midboss spells ruin me on stage 6. They seem worse than Yuyuko's similar pattern on hard from Touhou 7.

Normal 1cc is very easy if you use Sakuya A or Marisa B, so try using those if you're having trouble.

Going through Extra Stage. It's possible to get max lives by the end of the stage with Reimu A. Will post video soon.
