I'm not sure if the streaks for certain parts are intentional or not. You might want to explore opacity vs flow to better understand how they affect brushes for a start.

Everyone starts somewhere! I also assumed you were using Photoshop and I'm not sure what other programs would have similar options.

Today, my friend introduced me to a neat thing called "shimeji" in which we can create our own custom characters and animate them with the templates provided. Using the frames created, the program scatters characters around the screen, and you may add or delete as many as you'd like. They do funny things like climb the sides or simply walk around the screen.

< I'm working on a Colress one right now. There are nearly 50 different frame templates provided by the program and all we have to do is draw over the template while keeping the background transparent. I don't know how long it would take for me to complete, and some people requested I do N, Ghetsis, and the grunts after I finish with Colress.

Oh wow, can't wait to see the results! My friend has been using these kinds of stuff since forever and I forgot to ask him what it was.
