This DLC brings gamers something they have been asking for since they first met the character of Elizabeth: The chance to see the world through her eyes. You become Elizabeth as she seeks to bring closure to her story, and to BioShock Infinite’s. Like Episode 1, this DLC features Rapture as you’ve never seen it before—a shining jewel at the bottom of the ocean, built almost entirely from scratch in the BioShock Infinite engine. Gameplay has been modified to give the player an original BioShock combat experience that merges the best parts of BioShock and BioShock Infinite: new weapons, new Plasmids/Vigors, Tears, Sky-Lines, and Big Daddies.

I'm guessing, just from what I've seen, what the story is going to be about:

New Year's Eve, 1958 is basically the day that began Rapture's downfall. I wouldn't be surprised if Elizabeth was behind the explosion that began the revolution. Perhaps her daughter is taken to become a Little Sister and she uses the fragile nature of Rapture's citizens as a distraction to save her, but it ends up sparking the revolution in the process

Really looking forward to playing as Elizabeth, her gameplay section seems interesting. She has a gun! eeeeeh

Surprised nobody re-opened this thread. Buried at Sea episode 2 came out on March 25th. I just played it, and was pretty much blown away by it, both story wise and gameplay wise.

It truly felt like Bioshock 3, rather than part of Bioshock infinite. And the way it connected all the plots together was just fantastic, even more than the original ending of Infinite.

Seeing Elizabeth's dead body the first time was shocking. Seeing her die for real was heartbreaking. She never got a chance at a real life, she made it to Paris yeah... In the afterlife, but she was never truly happy. And then she was dragged back to the mortal world, just to die all over again in order to set the events of the original Bioshock in motion. Her only ever friend was Booker, and she killed every possible incarnation of him. She was always being exploited, always being manipulated and always being used, ever since she was born. Thinking back at that wonder-filled happy sweet girl you meet at the start of Infinite, it's completely tragic.

I feel sad now.

BaS2 took all of my feels and heartlessly crushed them. A great end but so. Fucking. Sad.

I'm pretty damn sure Bioshock: Infinite has surpassed FFX as my saddest game of all time. All the feels. I STILL feel sad, and I finished it hours ago.
