HackShield warning: an instance of MapleStory is already running....

or something along those lines. Earlier, my friend had a problem with youtube, and reinstall the flash player. Then this showed up when she tried to start the game.

According from her:
1. She restarted her computer a lot of times.
2. She also reinstalled the game.
3. She even reinstalled the flash player.
4. She scanned her computer with anti-virus.

Only thing she hasn't tried yet is reinstalling windows, which she would like to avoid. Anyone got any idea what happened?

Did she completely uninstall Maple before reinstalling it?

Got the same error after Kanna patch. Tried reinstalling it, restarting the computer, uninstalling antivirus... no luck.

I've also had the problem before I think on V.129. It was a problem with my school network, as I could play fine at home. using a VPN also worked. But in V.130 (or one of the mini patched after) it was fixed, and I didn't get the error again.
