Aswan Bonus Coins
#1
Copy-pasting for someone who wants help but doesn't have a SP account

Hi guys. I need help figuring out what order to do Aswan (between Easy, Normal, and Hard) so that I can maximize the following three parameters.

1. The maximum number of coins per day. (Also, if it's not too much trouble, please post the amount of time required.)

2. The fastest rate of obtaining coins based on:
Easy mode: 45 sec average
Normal mode: 1 min average
Hard mode: 6.5 min average (because I like defense mode more)

3. Suppose I came home at 10 pm, and I wanted to get the most coins before midnight. Using the times above, what path should I follow to maximize my coins?

The number of coins you're supposed to get (without bonus coins) are:
Easy: 1
Normal: 3
Hard: 5 + 1 Emperor coin

This is the same for all Occupy, Attack, and Defense modes. Emperor coins are worth 11 conqueror coins each.

The numbers of coins given per single run are shown in the following table. The coin count is the number that the "Coin Master" NPC, Woodwan, shows when you finish the stage and go to him to collect your coins. For example, suppose you were just starting your first Aswan run today. Woodwan will say 0/150. Suppose the first run you do is a Normal mode run. After you clear the stage, Woodwan will show 3/150. You then click the first option, "I've come to claim my FIght for Azwan clearance reward." Woodwan will give you 4 Conqueror coins.

There is a glitch with the hard mode that even though you obtain 5 conqueror coins, Woodwan will increase the counter by 6. For example, suppose your first run of the day is an easy mode run. Woodwan shows 1/150. Then, you do a hard mode run. When you finish the stage, Woodwan will show 7/150.

I don't see what's glitchy. Woodwan's counter keeps track of the total number of coins, whether conqueror or emperor.

If the following is too WoT for you, jump to the end for the tl;dr.

Consider the ending phase, where you receive 30 bonus conqueror's coins per Easy run, vs 5+1 coins per Hard run. Recognise that the issue now is whether bonus coins*5runs[Easy] > bonus coins + base coins[Hard]. It's obviously understood that bonus coins*5runs[easy] > base coins[Hard].

At 140 coins till 145 coins, for Easy mode you receive a total of 5 Conqueror's coins + 150 bonus Conqueror's coins over 5 runs (using your data). That's 155, which is worth approx. 15 Emperor's coins.

At the similar time/coinpoint, for Hard mode you receive 16 bonus Emperor's coins. This alone is more than what you get for Easy mode. At earlier stages, a similar outcome applies.

Now for time issue. You need 150 runs for Easy (which is pretty boring), or 25 runs for Hard. That implies that you need 2.5 to 3 hours for both cases, because I'm also taking into account server lag and other issues. But by your numbers, Hard mode uses 162.5 minutes while Easy mode uses 112.5 minutes.

If you came home at 10pm, then you only have a maximum of 120 minutes theoretically. Using your numbers, you can finish all the Easy mode, or you can only run 18 out of 25 Hard mode runs (i.e. up to the equivalent of the 108th run). Not counting round 150 because you can't have any carry-over for Easy mode, you have a grand total of 2475 Conqueror's coins, or the equivalent of 225 Emperor's coins.
If you ran Hard mode, then you will get 285 Conqueror's coins and 121 Emperor's coins, or grand total equivalent of 146~147 Emperor's coins.

If you continued after 12am, but did not collect your coins (makes the most sense), then it will result in a carry-over to the next day. The carry-over counts to the bonus coins, so you will have 35 Conqueror's coins and 7 Emperor's coins to start off each day. Your bonus count will jump by one stage for the hard mode. Carrying on the idea, you will get a grand total of 167 Emperor's coins (in equivalents).

The break-even point for Hard mode is 23 runs out of 25 daily possible ones, assuming you can finish Easy mode 150 times within the time bonus period. 22 Hard mode runs with carry-over does not break even with 150 Easy mode runs.

tl;dr
Conclusion: If you only had 2 hours to play each day, you should run Easy mode. If you had 3 hours to play, you should play Hard mode. If you have nowhere close to 3 hours, play easy mode. If you take 5 minutes per Hard attack mode, you should run Hard attack mode instead if you badly want coins. I have used your numbers, and I assume that those numbers are pretty accurate and slightly on the generous side to account for buffing.

Also note that Hard mode defend always gives more honour exp than easy mode. The only time I've ever had more honour EXP than Hard mode defend was a solo party hard mode attack, with nearly 8k honour exp. Goes without saying that it takes a long time, say about 7-8 minutes.

This thread bring up something I didn't think of until I looked at your table. I've been running 25 Hard Attacks a day, but I just realized, I should be running 24 Hard Attacks, 5 Easy then capping off with one more Hard Attack. Don't do it. Oh wait, I vaguely remember him cutting off coins once you reach that 150, can anyone confirm my faltering memory? Yes.

Sorry for the stream of consciousness thing there, I didn't want backspace.

Yes, once you reach 150 you get nothing more.
So if you have the time, you should do 25 Hards.
If you can't fit that into the time you have, do the Easies first, I think. You only get bonus Emperor coins on Hard runs, so you want your last runs (the ones that get the biggest bonuses) to be Hard ones.

Confirming, and the worst part, he skips on the good coins
