Shielding wards!!.... wait what???

I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw that.

Guess my money stays in my pocket this year.
All these 1-day and 3-day things, only 20% off on cubes, nothing amazing.
Did get inventory expansions for a couple mules, with Maple Points.

Yeah monday's sale is the only one worth noting. Rest are crap.

I feel like there will be a better cube sale for Christmas, so I'll probably hold off on buying *too* many on Saturday.

You may recall that when the shielding wards first appeared they were 10k each.
Still doesn't make 3.57 or even 3.33 70% off, but that's within Nexon's usual "rounding errors" on sales.

I'm not sure. I remember the 11-packs were 99,900 or thereabouts. But maybe those were more deeply discounted than the usual 11-for-the-price-of-10.

The last round when shielding wards were around they were about 50k NX. I've bought at least 1 or 2 of those packs. I never paid attention if they were even discounted for as long as say 1 month but, I don't recall it ever changing, this is the 11 pack btw. Those did last 90 days and not some crappy 3 day item though. Unfortunately, I don't even know what to do with wards the only use was to make a Dom pend which I had it made a long while ago. If Guardian scrolls comes back you can count on people coming back from their losses a bit easier.

11 for 33-35k is a very good deal. Especially if you plan to scroll a new weapon for Angelic Bursters, you can gift a bunch of those Shielding Wards on a mule account and don't log in it till you have your weapon/WS ready to scroll.

I expect to see a coin store again that sells one/two handed 40% weapon att scrolls +5 att +3 all stat, stack up on those and scroll your AB weapon with wards.

Pam's song -> slot not consumed if it fails, only disappears when a scroll fails.
Shielding Ward -> item doesn't break even if the scroll would break it
Guardian Scroll -> *scroll not consumed if it fails

Only considered it briefly; Pams on sale cost more than Guardians at the normal price, when scrolling with 20%s. 110k for wards would be nice but then it's 200k for Pams.

Will wait until they do a week/month long sale on all sorts of shielding NX again. Unless someone wants to sell me some white scrolls on Bera... (better PM me for that though)

You've got it backwards. Shield Scroll protects the slot, Guardian Scroll protects the scroll.

I might be interested in cubes... but which? :/
