Hard Mode's the best option if you can do it, normal/easy don't give silver coin rewards even if you've built up a bonus of them, and given they're worth ~10x as much, and you get 1/2 as many, it's still 5 times faster farming.



* Is it just me, or is the '10 special circs' a daily limit? I had the guy run out after 1 sold (after several earlier rounds buying 9, I guess), didn't see them again until after midnight.



Also, on-topic to azwan, per slot, the scrolls' rates are equivalent to:
Armor/Accessories
60% +3: 84.3%
50% +4: 84.1%
40% +5: 83.3%

Weapons
60% +2: 77.5%
50% +3: 79.4%
40% +4: 79.5%
30% +5: 78.6%
20% +6: 76.5%

In other words, if you want to scroll something in the minimal number of attempts, 60% +3 and 40% +4 are the optimal scrolls to use, by a small margin. (no idea whether the diligence scrolling success rate works on these)

thanks for those numbers!, and actually, the guy sells circulators in 2 batches, he has batches of 10, and batches of 1, you can't know which batch he's holding until you buy at least one though. i've bought 30-ish circs in one day myself.

Not to be a smartass but you can tell which one he's holding without buying any - it tells you on this thing, just before you purchase.

(you don't even need enough coins - it'll let you select how many (which must be 1) and get to this with too few)

Anyone getting broken bonus coins atm? I'm getting 1 emperor, 5 conqueror every time regardless of when I collect it on hard attack. Also, i tried waiting for various amounts of time before killing, but the time bonus didn't change.

It seems to me like the number of bonus coins you get from Woodwan is determined by:
Bonus Conqueror Coins = 1 + (Total coins you earned today / 5, rounded down)
Bonus Emperor Coins = 1 + (Total coins you earned today / 10, rounded down)
Also, you only get bonus Emperor Coins if you have more than 0 Emperor Coins to claim.
So it seems like it's better to do Easy mode than Normal; and Hard mode than Hell if you're farming for coins rather than Honor.
