Paypal/Nexon Game Card Cash

Hey, so I'm gonna buy a bunch of Gacha today. Anyway, since I'm too lazy to walk to Target a few miles from my house, I'm using my dad's PayPal (yes, I got permission D to get some. Anyway, I know they implemented this new system and I don't really understand it. Can you use PayPal cash to get Gacha or do you need Game card cash?

NEXON cards for gacha? Huh? I don't buy NX cash that much...but I don't remember any system like that...I know you get gift tokens if you buy NX cash cards. There shouldn't be any restriction on gacha except level restrictions.

K, thanks. I'll do that next time, but a certain friend of mine in game *coughs loudly* told me it was only for Game cards, so I had to get off my ass and walk a few miles (bad, isn't it?). Whatever.

You can only MTS with the game cards. Paypal'd cash does not work in MTS.

IIRC things like name changing and stuff also require Nexon card cash.

That really sucks for people who can't find Nexon cards locally. But it's not like there aren't ways around that... e.g., finding items and selling on MTS.

Name changing and world transferring does not require money from game cards, based on own experience some months ago.

I stand corrected, then. Nonetheless, there are still some items (and MTS) that require it, which alienates some people who don't have them sold locally. Not to mention, it's kind of an inconvenience.

Does Nexon gain an advantage in forcing people to buy cards? Or is it supposed to be some sort of measure to keep kiddies from just using their parents' credit card for everything? To be honest, I'm more likely to just forget about the cash shop item than run right out to buy a Nexon card.

Was "some months ago" before or after the October Cash Shop change which separated Paypal and Game Card NX?

Please remember that some items such as the Character Name Change and Character Transfer can only be purchased with Nexon Game Card Cash. These type of items are marked by an "N" emblem on the item icon.
