DOWNLOAD ALL YOU CAN NOW BEFORE IT PASSES Shine

i'm buying DVD's like nobody's business.

and i don't know why, but i feel that my touhou torrent might get me in trouble, even though it's not copyrighted material Rolleyes

but yea, the big issue about this thing is that they can walk up to anyone, blame him for sharing CR'd material without any proof or need of it, and the guy is screwed because now he's guilty, unless he does something about it.

KhainiWest Wrote:How is that taking things out of proportion? The creators lose money as it's stolen, the government get's the benefit of the losses they made. Sure it'll slow down traffic but it won't remove it, nor will any justice be given to the creator.

The law will act as a deterrent to violating copyright. Taking things out of proportion is probably not the right phrase for it, but it does help the creators in some way, contrary to what the person I quoted was saying.

The Philippines recently passed a law against libel online. Seems like these kinds of things are popping up everywhere again.
