Soo...new body type of some kind? Looks like it'd be taller than a regular mapler. Maybe it's just for the artwork and ingame it'll be different...
Looking forward to the pirate one though, from seeing how interesting the warrior is.

EDIT: The artwork is a transformation it seems...

Between that .gif of Magnus backstabbing Guwara and stealing his crystal, and that leaked "evolving sword" artwork that gave us our first look at Magnus.....

I'd say that there's a good chance that Magnus saw his fellow winged humanoid general defect, and got inspired to follow suit.
