Videos no longer working on Firefox? Latest version, 13.0.1
#1
Question in title. I checked. It's not just Youtube, but even Google video and Vimeo don't work as well, which would pretty much mean all other forms of video media don't work. Stuff still works fine on Google Chrome, and even..... Internet Explorer. Seriously, what the hell?

Works fine for me. Maybe it's decided some plug-in or other needs upgrading?

Update your Java? ...Firefox uses Java right?
Edit: [TotalFacepalm] I meant Flash. And I suppose Java. Man, I feel like slapping myself in the face for saying that initially.

I already did. No effect.

I heard it has to do with the protected mode (safety issue) that Flash Player is handled with since FireFox 13...

The funny thing is that my video's were crap in FF11 and FF12, but and good again in FF13...

I had the same problem. I deleted Flash player and installed an earlier one.
You can uninstall it using a program from the Adobe site.

Then I installed this one:
Quote:Try Flash 11.2 that you can download via this link:

Also, do NOT set it to auto-update. Or you'll run into this problem again.

I disabled the auto-update and reinstalled. Nothing. Argh. Firefox, why you no work? I guess I can switch to Chrome for now.

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: I tried your link, but said that version was out of date and demanded me to download the latest version anyways.

Apparently it's not just Youtube that's gone derp. The "Select photos and videos" button doesn't even appear on Photobucket on Firefox. What??
