When I had considered using PBE I did not factor in patching time or the fact that Riot never, ever updates the downloaded patch file. These were two things I was unaware of.

I'm stuck between two bowls of crap - crappy login times in case people get booted or even attend, or dealing with a PBE that will take people a long time to get.

Event is postponed until Riot fixes their crapola.
