Nexon fixed my most hated glitch

So, ATM, I'm doing some homework, and and the same time, playing Maple. I'm on the ride to orbis, and after a couple minutes pass, I check back on to see if I'm there yet.
It turns out, I D/Ced.
So I was in the last cople minutes of the trip and I'm like PINEAPPLE! but then, as I log back on in a more stable channel, it takes me into the cabin of the ship, on the way to Ellina.
Thanks Nexon. You actually did something right.

It's because the channel that you were on crashed. You still probably go back to ellinia if you really disconnect off the boat to orbis.

Yeah, you stay on the boat if the channel goes down badly >_>

Find an archmage or bishop at newties.

I smell abuse of this "fix" though. As in if you log off (or purposefully disconnect yourself) while riding a ship just to get there faster. Saves like a few minutes lol.

Well they came back in the cabin, and since you change maps at set times, I dont think it'd save any time.

Now if it brought you directly to town it'd save time.

There's a big difference between getting kicked off by the channel/game crashing and simply disconnecting. Nexon hasn't changed anything.

When the channel you're on crashes, you respawn on exactly the same map you were in - no matter what. If the channel crashes and you're in Zak's altar, you will come back in Zak's altar (this is how Zak has been summoned in other channels before, like 11, 19, etc.). If you're in the Pap altar when the channel crashes, you will come back inside the Pap altar. Ask HayO about that. His channel crashed while he was Papping, and he relogged in a different channel and came back in the Pap altar - while another party was inside fighting it. He even has screenshots of it happening. They thought he hacked to do it. Lol

When you simply disconnect from the game, you will respawn on the proper point. If you disconnect while in Zak's altar, you will appear in that tall El Nath cavern map. If you disconnect while in Pap's altar, you'll appear on the map outside the entrance.

It's just like riding the boats. The proper respawn point is the landing platform of the town you started the ride at. But if your channel crashes, you will be returned to the boat or the cabin if you were inside it. It's always been this way. It's just that not many know about it because crashes don't happen all that often. Nexon hasn't changed anything.
