Anyone going to see this? It comes out on Friday. I'm interested because it seems to have one of more realistic and unique portrayals of people getting super powers. A few people have compared it to Akira.

I've wanted to see it ever since I saw the first trailers three months ago.
I'm sort of a sci-fi geek, and don't care too much about plot. This looks pretty cool to me.
I won't end up seeing it, though, seeing as I haven't been to a movie theatre in 4 years.

I've been looking forward to this one, it seemed like it'd be good. So was thinking of going with gf to see it and the woman/lady in black.

Gonna go watch this when I have time, looked sick to me. Hope they didn't reveal too much with that trailer though.

Stupid thing was filmed from a hand camera, and it got kind of annoying.

I barely even noticed the found footage style after about mid-way through the movie.

I found some of the smaller CGI (like the baseball, the talent show, and the lego) really fake looking, but the big special effects near the end looked damn real. I loved the climax. I was depressed at how the black guy died though. He was a cool character; he always came up with new ways to use the power.
