Phantom's dodge-rate
#1
I saw the pink bean run and that phantom, and what looked like his 100% dodge/miss rate. What would be needed to achieve something like that? Does pink bean how low accuracy? Or does that even matter?
Edit: I never posted a thread here before, so I hope it's the right one.

Highly unlikely.

Phantoms have 50% dodge rate and 1.3x avoid.

How is this possible then? He suffered from an extremely unnecessary-miss syndrome. What factors lead up to this?

No one knows how the avoid formula works anymore.

Lets say, theoretically, the chance to miss from his avoid stat is 50%. From other skills, this becomes 65% (1.3 * 50). Combined with their Dodge Rate (50%), there is a 17.5% chance they will get hit from any given attack.

If I ever join KMS, I'm asking HIM to scroll my equipment. He must be one lucky dude if it is a 17.5% chance to get hit.

He gave you a random number to understand how avoid works.

Oh. Should've known that. x~x
So there is no formula tied to the avoidability stat then? The 1.3x only multiplies the stat, and stays if avoid is already at max?

Hit Chance = 1-(avoid rate * avoid rate multiplier)/100
Hit Chance *dodge rate = Final hit rate

You can use this

Albeit it's outdated.

I watched that video too, I didn't see a single hit land on him in the whole thing, even when he is standing in a mob, it's just a wall of MISSes lol. With his gear he probably has 9999 in his avoid stat, so that probably contributes to it, but still, EVERY HIT missing? lol

There's probably a hard cap on avoid rate like 95% or something which means like 2.5% chance of being hit.

If it's like def that might not be necessary, as in the case of def the 9999 cap means it can't go higher than 50% damage blocked (or 2500, but that's not helpful on PB).
