At 130, you would have gained about 616 HP naturally (assuming average HP gain is 22).
That means you need 707 more HP to have 4820 HP. Assuming each AP into HP gives you 18 HP (the average), you'd have to add 40 more points into HP.
This is off topic, but since you're entering HT at 130, you will receive a damage reduction since Horntail's Level is 160. It might do to just have some HP equips since your attacks aren't going to do much damage anyway. (Just my opinion)

Kevo is right, HT is going to be taking 25% of your actual damage thanks to level multipliers. Basically that means you're not attacking.
So yea, do less washes and buy some HP equips.
Also, if you ever want to wash the points out of MP and back into DEX, you should really look into INT equips now (if you haven't already). 80 less dex is quite a large amount.

MP Equips won't help with the HP Washing process at all. Just need to level more with decent INT equips, or if you're rich/desperate, you can MP Wash.

Bleh, typo, I ment INT eqs. But yea, 80 dex is a lot to be missing out on, you should buy INT eqs and AP resets at every available moment. It will be costly, but seeing how it seems you're buying a HT pendent, it maybe worth it.
You are buying a pendent right? No party will bring you along to loot unless you buy or know someone.

If he was buying a pendant his HP would be irrelevant since buyers just AFK at preheads and don't face the main body. An Archer's sole purpose at HT is to provide SE and survive, so it wouldn't be very out of the ordinary for them to bring him along assuming he could do both.

Well, Archers do provide some pretty good DPS. You can't undermine the fact that we're helpful for damage, I'm sure if you were to sit in HT and just spam SE without attacking, the people you were running with would be pretty pissed ^_^

Some BM's are just SE Mules, and I don't think too many would care if the BM attacks or not (during the Tail in my HT Squads, I don't think the SE usually attacks). Also keep in mind of the damage deduction if your level isn't high enough... I've seen plenty of Archers with enough HP still dying all the time. I can't say how many times I've seen Archers die and then say "wth, I had full HP" or something like that. Archers are usually only taken because of Sharp Eyes, since they just can't compare to Night Lords.
I believe, unless the player is fairly experienced, that Archers should focus on surviving then attacking.

The DPS isn't bad, but it doesn't compare to what NLs are capable of. Many of the first runs started out with Archers in full HP gear, shield and rescue tube included, who did nothing but SE. Now that pretty much everyone that intends to play their Archer seriously is HP washing hardcore, it's becoming more of a thing of the past, but if people are desperate they'll still settle for SE mules over nothing.

So regardless, if he's buying or muling, instead of going full HP resets he should be getting some HP gear.
At lvl 130 your damage is 25% of normal THEN another 1k damage reduction for wdef. So if you normally did 8k total, it would be only be 1k!
140 is 50% minus another 1k. 8k -> 3k
150 is 75% minus another 1k. 8k -> 5k
160 is of course 8k -> 7k
So until 140+ it really doesn't pay for an archer to attack.

Answering from experience,
I went on my first HT run at 129 with 85points washed, and I needed to wear a 105hp rat mouth to give me the boost to have 4870/4970hp I think it was,
so I'm guessing I had 4765/4865 base hp at the time with 85points washed
so you need 40'ish more?
