Diet versus exercise, what contributes more to pure weight loss?

@Khaini: I've never heard about blood types affecting nutritional requirements. I thought it was solely based on cutting down depending on your daily caloric intake and daily caloric requirement. I've only ever heard of blood type affecting transfusions, not weight loss...

[/URL] Blood type helps figure out what your body would benefit more from. It's not a diet specifically for weight loss but overall health. The calorie thing isn't working for him so it might help a little. But when it gets down to it, it's how much you eat then how much you burn, then how much you eat again to regenerate the muscle.

^Lol that is alternative medicine and pseudoscience. The system uses naturopathy... which is just a fancy word for "stuff that helps your body do its job, even when the body is doing its job well ktyvm" (which pretty much means it does absolutely nothing to help you, besides possibly taking advantage of the placebo effect). It's like that business with body cleansing... when in fact your body does a pretty good job of clearing out waste already.

Honestly, diet alone is enough to help you lose weight though not as effective as adding exercise to the mix. This is a tried, tested, and true method that works. Don't fall for the millions of weight loss scams out there.

..Isn't that what I just said? I wasn't even aware you had to purchase anything, it just lists off what your diet should have more of based off your blood type, which really isn't as farfetch'd as you're making it sound lol

Hmmm. Very interesting read. I always thought it was a balance of the two.

Something to keep in mind is that exercise tends to build muscles up, and muscles are heavy.
Depending on the form of exercise you could end up gaining weight while you lose fat, so just looking at weight by itself isn't a very accurate judge of progress.
