No Nexon no! No 2x events!!!! How about giving 5 of those 1.5x exp boxes so everyone can enjoy it regardless of timezone, school, work etc.?

I dont get why they have to do 2x exp events. If they want to test how much the servers can handle before they crash, why dont they just make a million sub chars that can be run on one computer at the same time. Everytime there is 2x exp events theres either a. Lagg b. Full of 12 year olds or c. The server crash. Learn to handle exp events in a different way, give us 1,5x exp buff cupons or 2x cupons that expire 3 days after.
This would solve time zone difference, ksers, lagg and server crashes because people wont be using them at the EXACT SAME TIME. And I dont care if its less exp, at least I can play then.

Because it's infinitely easier to change one setting that gives everyone 2x for a period than to send everyone an item.

Just change its date, and presto! (If the date is client-sided you do need to tweak it once to move it server-side, so they can activate it without a patch each time).

Quest data has to be changed in both server & WZs, e.g, they need Korea to do it, so I win
 They wouldn't have to do it via quest though, they'd just have to do a timed broadcast delivery via cash shop. Still easier to just flip a switch.
