"What some kid did to avoid writing a project" sounds like he's procrastinating or not being productive with his time.

At first was going to replay with that was explicit with the video title but after hearing him said that it was draw or describe a town I think I got confused with what his teacher said (and a bit of what he said).

One of my students approached me and asked if he could design his own personal city via Minecraft in lieu of writing a history for a “fake” city per my Geography and the History of the World class. I told that would be more than fine. What he produced blew me away.

I saw that as writing a couple pages or more and I myself rather spend 10 times more time doing something fun than something boring.

Well, one of my computers and business classes used Sim City as a means of modeling real world management scenarios (group decisions, etc) and it worked out well enough while being fun so I'm sure this could be applied creatively and intelligently too, on a much wider and more flexible array of subjects.
