Somethings seriously wrong..I was just sitting peacefully in showa, then that big lag hit and next thing ya know I've been blocked. Has this happened to anyone else?

EDIT: I've seen it say "disconnected for the HACK reason" but this is the first time it's said "blocked for the HACK reason" lol

Same here>.> Well I just tried to log back on and got this message. "You have been blocked until 10/15/2011 until 3:05 PM for the HACK Reason". I hit it again and logged in wth.

Happened to me at LHC in June, and I got banned for 1 month(a real ban)

I'm seeinng too many "auto ban alert" threads on Basil. Yeah, Basil isn't a 100% reliable source, but the idea of a 3-day ban for doing absolutely (some people say they've been perma banned ) scares me

I had three disconnects with 'Blocked for hack' messages today, but fortunately could relog. For each of them others were complaining about server lag, so it wasn't just my bad internet doing me in like usual.
Rather scarey all the same, since I've had two actual 1-day bans in the past, and have seen plenty of reports of month long autobans for no reason.

It does. If it happens repeatedly it begins escalating the length.

Seriously, what the hell. Either you get randomly banned by Nexon or randomly hacked by a meso-seller. This game is becoming literally unplayable, you have to fear both hackers AND Nexon now.

And the fun fact is that newly created hackers' mule accounts have no bans on their records while legits players have a dozen of completely random auto bans

I have gotten autobanned 8 times or so for a day when I was training at LHC, on my way to Zak, mining gold, AFKing alone on FM. Recently, I avoided an autoban somehow, maple crashed when I got the "You have been blocked by GM police" message.

Also worth noting - it auto blocks you from getting gifts from some of their events. They had something where you got 5k maplepoints earlier this year and it took me 6 months of tickets to get the false ban's off my record and get my points, then they acted like they did me a favor.

Yeah, I have so many of those stupid false bans on my record it's not even worth trying it.

Dont buy that meso seller excuse, the reputible ones (ones I purchase nx from) dont even request you download/any account info, they just pinned it on them to try to save the maple economy. lolgl

The assumption, in this case, is that the meso-sellers have a password/pic bypass (or an inside person at Nexon, or have planted an invisible keylogger at popular maple sites), not that they hack their own customers (although some have been known to do it, most of the hacked people I've spoken to swear they've never bought meso or nx from other than Nexon).

It's strange that their meso rates fell after the hackings began though. Their IGNs are also English versions of Chinese ping characters. There are many more coincidences on top of that as well.
And to TS, I'm not going to play until the lag is fixed, don't want to risk an auto-ban.
