Social Group Changes
#1

  1. Social Groups should now show notifications in your Notifications menu.
  2. Social Groups you are a member of should now appear at the bottom of the forum list, behaving just like forums do.
  3. Assuming the first two work as explained the "Groups" button will be going away. If you do not have any Groups the Groups section on the forum list will give you a link to where Groups takes you now.
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.

Does social groups threads appears on the "Whats New" link?

I basically use that link to enter in most forums so it would be useful seeing the social groups threads in there too.

Not yet. I had to make changes to how it tracks what's been read to support it as far as it is now.

Still determining if that addition is feasible.

First time I saw it I thought someone was trying to take a stab at the Australian's by making a subforum called lolaussies.
