Just find someone with a female DW eevee. It's just annoying to breed for people due to the 1/8 female rate (on top of the 40-50% DW ability rate).

Got another update about the eevee event. Said my account qualified and they'll tell me when I can get it.

Not like it matters, I already finished my collection of eevees.

is it just me, or are legendary pokemon WAY easier to catch in these games? i caught thundurus, cobalion, terrakion, and virizion all in regular pokeballs. All down to red health, no false swipe or status effects, and it only took 5-15 pokeballs for each. i dont kno if i just got lucky or not, but if its always like this then i greatly appreciate nintendo doing this, the most tedious thing in pokemon is trying to catch the f***ing legendaries. if not then, nintendo, i encourage u to do this.

AFAIK the legends all have the standard 3 Catch Rate, except Zekrom and Reshiram. They have 15.

While that's true, I do think legendaries are easier this time around. Not sure if the catch rate formula changed, but many people have said it's much easier.

It's because of the new Critical Capture mechanics. Everytime you throw a Pokéball, you have a chance to have a Critical Capture. When a Critical Capture occurs, the Poké Ball will pause in mid-air, shudder, and make a high-pitched whistling sound as it is thrown. The chance of a Critical Capture occurring depends on the number of Pokémon you caught, see the formula here. With a Critical Capture, the Pokéball will only shake once, increasing the catch probability by (original probability)^(1/3).

For example, a critical capture against a full-health Pokémon with a catch rate of 3 (such as Kyurem) with a Poké Ball will have a 25.03% chance of success, much higher compared to the normal capture's 1.57% chance.

I'm pretty sure most people don't account for critical captures when talking about this. None of the legendaries I've caught had a critical capture when throwing pokeballs.

i do believe thundurus was a critical capture, but the others were just regular captures, ive also noticed that all pokemon in general are easier to capture, not only the legendaries.
i have recently caught several pokemon levels 50-60 with regular pokeballs, full health, first try. i dont kno what nintendo did differently, but im glad they did it.
