FFX HD

People are really creaming their jeans over this? I rather go to a GameStop and buy two copies of FFX for PS2.

What if you already have FFX (And X-2 for that matter)?

Even if I didn't own FFX I still would rather buy one from GameStop or online. The only time something like this makes any sense to buy at all is when the game is rare and hard to find.

Yep that would be the seller right there.

YES. This. The big seller for me, since we never really got the International versions. Wouldn't mind going through the whole game again just for the new challenges.

The EU version for PS2 had them, so I think it is pretty safe to say they will.
I really do not think a small bloody graphic polish is enough to get it on the PS3, regardless if you fought the extra bosses or not. I consider these versions of games to be for the ones too young to have tried the original.

We'll end up paying $20 guaranteed, and they'll end up selling tens of thousands of copies if not millions and making a ton of money for doing very little. If you're going to make millions for doing very little at least stretch that little work out to cover two games and put them at a somewhat fair price ($30 for two 10 year old games is completely fair)

you won't see me getting mad at square enix for doing something i'm totally okay with...

I agree with this completely unless it's in collection form. Re-releasing single games with "graphic updates" (skin patch) in digital distribution format is kind of unscrupulous. Especially a franchise like final fantasy. I think collections are forgivable because 1. having 2 - 3 games on a single blu ray is wonderful and 2. sometimes finding multiple games can be difficult, especially in series form (please .hack collection PLEASSEEEE) but yeah, this digital distribution at $20 crap is bullshit
