Also, this is for your ring number 4, you're pushing for anything you can get.
Also, Locked, you cube the living crap out of that mothertrucker.

Too expensive.
I'd rather something that is 3rd tier than 1st tier.

Good luck getting a 3rd tier ring with slots.
Mainly because they don't exist.
Takebacker, it isn't, really.
You could compare your DPS with either one, and I can almost guarantee that 9%primary stat and 10-12 of that same stat is better than a 2att 10% crit rate.

Except i already have one of them and the money used to get the other one could easily be used for a better cause, like the 139 attack 3L VIP knuckle in the FM. (20 att upgrade)

Do the math if you're so sure of yourself. All you're doing is saying baseless claims.

Also didn't someone say that the +10% Crit rate alone gave like a 3% or 5% damage increase to any class with inherit crit?

I don't have a DPS calculator that could factor in %stat and that stuff, and don't know how to make one.
If anyone has one, that'd be nice, and this would be settled once and for all.
Now who's making baseless claims?

It's not hard at all to calculate using your stat percentages. Just take your total primary stat without any percentages and work off of that.

Can't believe I'm posting about MapleStory, but no. Crit sucks total ass. 9% primary stat alone would be better unless you already had several hundred +% primary stat stacked on your character, devaluing % primary stat to the point where more would be as bad as crit (can't be bothered to find exact number).

Also, having inherent crit makes crit even worse. The only thing that makes crit better is passive abilities that increase the effect of a crit.

For a concrete example, the 10% crit ring on my paladin takes me from 56% crit, 41~50% to 66% crit, 41~50%. So that bumps a 25.5% bonus to 30.0% bonus. Which is about a 3.6% total damage increase.

With my current %stats hovering around 50%, beating it would require 6%str or better - which is 3%str,2%str,1%all - and ignores the 2atk vs. whatever +stat on it.

In any case the difference is gonna be small considering the cost of cubing to unique and getting good stats. So I would not bother with it.

+ with SE, it's even better.
77% crit, 41~82% to 87% crit, 41~82%. Makes for 47.4% -> 53.5%, or 4.1% increase overall. Which makes it beat 6% stat.

Why would you spend Bils cubing a 1st tier item when that money can be used to cube 3rd tier items?
You're basically suggesting we attempt to cube for something that's as likely to show up as 27% LUK on my HTP.
even if I were to waste my money doing that, an increase of my HTP from 21%>27% is better than getting a ring from 7%>9%(3/2/2 is best scenario in terms of extremely good potentials that people would stop at.

Scenario:
You're Fleyx. You have an essentially unlimited amount of cubes, and perfect equips except for you only have 3 rings. You solo zak in a minute or so, and an almighty ring recipe drops. You make that ring, and it comes out pot'd. For the lulz, you decide to cube it to 9%luk.
/win.
