The Chaos update has brought many changes to Maple World, the most significant of which is the introduction of PvP gameplay. In a previous edition of AcornStory, we introduced you to the concepts of PvP, how theyre implemented in MapleStory, and how you can get started in the exciting world of hero versus hero competition. In this edition, well go into detail about another PvP game mode - the incredible battle against the Ice Knight.
Who is the Ice Knight?
The Ice Knight is the cast off armor and weapons of the failed champion Hudak. Once a friend to Aran and the other great heroes of Maple World who defeated the Black Mage during his first rise to power, Hudak succumbed to his own pride and betrayed everything he believed in. Pledging himself to the Black Mage, he fought his former friends only to meet defeat at the hands of Aran. Now hes cursed to spend eternity trapped in his former armor. Whenever a group of Maplers finds it, the armor possesses one of them and turns them against their friends.
You can read the tale of Hudak here.
