I went to see this tonight in 3D as well. I got those special 3D glasses and everything! I couldn't wear them though, given I wear glasses and they wouldn't fit over my glasses. Thankfully the normal 3D glasses fit, but I wish they'd have a glasses version of the 3D glasses.
Anyway, I really enjoyed the movie, despite a few weird things that deviated from the plot. My theater also clapped for Mrs. Weasley's lines and a few other times, like when Hermione and Ron kissed in the chamber of secrets. McGonaga's "I've always wanted to use that spell!" was hilarious. :U Overall, I really enjoyed the movie. Kinda sad it's over, but I'm happy it had a good end.

The end scene with all three of them holding hands on the bridge reminded me of when they were little kids in the earlier movies, and brought the entire story full circle for me.

I went to the first showing and got my HP 3D glasses, didn't open them.
We got seated early and enjoyed a little skit by three guys dressed as Veela......they were really pretty guys...
A guy asked everyone in the theater to sing Happy Birthday to his mother( they had seen all of the HP movies together)
Some lady dressed in an old timey ladies suit with a fur lapel and an owl on her hat gave out HP cards with little temporary lightning bolt tattoos and lightning bolt lollipops...
Throughout the whole movie, it was as quiet as a tomb except for the occasional sniffle.
It was, by far, the best time I've ever had at a midnight showing.

Fred's death not being shown was kinda odd, since I know a lot of fans were really looking forward to that.
Neville was awesome. Him being paired with Luna was unexpected, since it was always hinted at but Rowling has specifically denied that they end up together.
Liked the way they changed how Molly kills Bellatrix, as well as how Harry never says "expelliarmus" while fighting Voldemort, which I know some people complained about.
McGonagal telling the Slytherins to go to the dungeon and never mentioning evacuating the younger students was strange.
No Grey Lady and Bloody Baron was expected; kinda wish they actually explained the story about Ariana.
How did Harry learn that Remus and Tonks had a son? She was about to announce it in 7.1, but never actually did, and I don't think they ever said it onscreen? Don't think they said how Harry got the mirror either.
The end of Snape's memories (a sequence I really liked) was kinda narmy. Especially baby Harry's face.
Was it just me or did them flying out of the Room of Requirement look really bad? I mean, obvious green screen bad. Same for Neville waking up, but I think that was almost intentional?
The aging up of the characters for the epilogue was... not so great. Harry and Ginny looked really different while Hermione didn't seem to have much aged at all.
Anyway, saw it at midnight (2D), etc. Tons of fangirls who sang AVPM and Potter Puppet Pals and screamed at every freaking little thing. I love the series too, but people really need to be aware that they're not the only ones in the theater.

I said "no Grey Lady and Bloody Baron". That is, they didn't explain the backstory of the diadem.
And yeah, I liked how they had her kill Bellatrix that way because IIRC after the book came out people were unsure if she actually used the killing curse or not.

I'm putting specific comments about the movie in spoilers. And there are people who are somehow unspoiled about what happens in the books, apparently.
Didn't like the continued lack of Dumbledore backstory, didn't like the marginalizing of Tonks and Lupin, liked the exploding bridge, loved the statues and "I've always wanted to use that spell," didn't like the end of the Snape memories, liked how the Snape memories showed Harry through the books (or movies, technically), lol'd at Ron having a potbelly, didn't really like the 19 years scene, didn't like how they changed the final fight with "let's finish this how it started- together" pomegranate, liked how they put little mementos of the old movies into the storage version of the room of requirement (Cornish Pixies, anyone?), weirded out how Voldemort's face seemed to appear when his Horcruxes died (never did that before), disliked Nagini's death being changed, loved Neville being a boss, disliked that he wasn't included at the end, lol'd at Draco looking like a creeper at 19 years scene, confused at Malfoy family running away, and confused as to why Harry's wand was completely ignored.
I saw it last night with my sister and we both agreed that it was ok.

I didn't like how they didn't delve more into the Hogwarts battle. It felt like the battle at Hogwarts was just sitting in the background as an after-thought. I came to the movie expecting an epic battle at Hogwarts and left disappointed. :/
