Need help buying something

Could anyone check out this site for me and see if it looks legit. From what I've gathered, it's been operating for quite some time, but their website is kind of crap. Operates in france and can ship internationally. Here's the site + product i'm looking at

It's the only site I've found so far that has this item. The other series (1, 2, 4) aren't that hard to find but 3 is extremely rare for some reason. If anyone's got a better site, I'd take that. I went as far as going to the paypal screen but not going to do anything yet. Even if it's a scam website, any chance paypal will refund me the money or I can cancel the order? I think it's going to be about 260-270 usd

There is absolutely no feedback on that website, extremely fishy. However paypal is pretty biased with purchasers, not sellers, so you could easily swing your money back. Just purchase it under a different Ip address and you're set.

I really like these nendoroid petite figurines. I picked up the entire set 1 and half of set 2 and 4 at AX. I'll eventually complete set 2 and 4, hopefully I can buy them individually instead of the whole box.

I think you can actually do way better than what you're currently paying for.

The most immediate option I've found so far is that you can buy the figures in the set individually over Yahoo Japan auctions. I haven't double checked that all 9 from the set are there, but at least if there's a few you really like, you can get them through those. I can't walk you through the process, though, because I can hardly read Japanese.

The other option you have is that you could make a request for it on Tokyo-Hunter. You could try hunt@tokyo-hunter.com or the the request page.

EDIT: Just saw your above post. You can actually finish up the set over Yahoo Auctions or MyFigureCollection's Let's Split Boxes club.

MFC: Saw that recently actually, but this set is like half a year old, so I don't know if it'll work. Haven't really lurked MFC much though at all.

Hm, I wouldn't know myself; but if anything, you always have Tokyo-Hunter, which is pretty well established.

Never tried it myself. You could try asking BTA about this, he might know a little more about it than I do.

If you want to auction on yahoo.jp, you need a middleman/proxy to bid on it. This below can help you pick a reliable site to use.

Another site I use to get hard-to-find figures is Mandarake - http://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/shop/en/

As for Tokyohunter, the site is a very good for hunting rare figures. You have to commission them to find an item for you. The price is usually the price they brought it for + commission fee.

I brought a lot from him so he's very good at finding rare exclusive figures.^^ Funny thing is, he had those touhou box sets on ebay few months back.

I usually preorder my figures to save on money. I mostly use AmiAmi & Otacool. Both have touhou based figures & other exclusives; but the ones you're talking about are sold out.

Yeah, I really like these sets. Apaprently 1 and 2 also sold out but got restocked, and people are speculating 3 will get restocked again, so i'm hoping for that. I still need to grab 2 figures off set 2 and 5 off set 4.
