Signs of Alien PQ coming back?

With that one ban I've seen from this, so far, there are hundreds of reasoning's for 1-7 day misconduct bans aren't there? So honestly it would be almost anything behind the reasoning for that one ban.

Ah why not. Let's be bitter because we're upset that we play a game that is essentially dominated if not run by hackers in all of the important issues (gear/bossing/valuable items), and take it out on borderline exploiters.

There's nothing borderline about this. They need to deal with hackers too but exploiters need to be deterred and sending a message like "hey you're going to miss out on legit stuff if you keep acting like fools" is a good move. It's not too harsh.

But yeah, wish they'd ban(perma, or even just a month, so it's like they actually spent the event for them) people who hacked the chaos warrior equips, too. Irritates me more than this, because everyone and their mother are hacking them, while only a select few could even lead this PQ. Really, I saw people with all 3 items+a crit ring at level 30. :/

Frankly, there are dozens of better ways for nexon to handle this, alas they undoubtedly won't do anything.

As for the hackers/leechers hacking the rings and event items (can't do it without a packet editor afaik), i'm 100% supportive of permabans on that crap. It's practically an easy wipe as well, very low collateral on a total ban on all accounts like that. Could make it a bit harder but no collateral by banning all accounts with any of that stuff on characters sub level 40. Sure, someone could've transferred the item(s) to their lowbie account, but only absolute morons would give all those items, going through all that work, and only have a character sub level 40, and thus no harm done by banning them.

Is Hot Time actually going to be rescheduled? I'm not sure anymore! Lol. My guess is Nexon had planned 2-3 hot times already, and so they just scrapped the first one and will defer to the second/third.

about that, i spent a good time afking at the VPQ map, and i got asked by at the very least over 30 WH, if i "wanted to go in" or if i "had a certain something that is not legit" which allowed them to move to the inside of the pq so while maybe a very select few could "legitly" lead, apparently hackers could go in anyways.

Crackpot theory: Bing forgot, but he ends up doing something else that turns out to be EVEN WORSE for the future. And it ties in with Masteria somehow.

about that, i spent a good time afking at the VPQ map, and i got asked by at the very least over 30 WH, if i "wanted to go in" or if i "had a certain something that is not legit" which allowed them to move to the inside of the pq so while maybe a very select few could "legitly" lead, apparently hackers could go in anyways.

Oh my gosh did I get spammed. I got a couple items during my pq's (no ban, yay) and when I put them in my shop, it was practically like once an hour minimum I was getting begged (primarily by wh's and randoms) for a code or packet or trick or secret to get in. Most annoying thing ever.

Yes, if the party leader had led a 120 PQ back during the original event, they could lead now. They could also drag along anyone, not just people with a TT medal. Could've been an account created a week ago and if it was 120, it could be dragged into the pq.

Chars are still inside VPQ area after the SC. Will check later if they can vpq. Alright, haven't tested myself yet, but apparently the pq npc moves you to henny.

They should've been banned for the 1st week of Professions.

about that, i don't think it was about "leading the PQ back then" i think if you completed the PQ after the event, a quest for wynn activated where she gave you exp, i could look for the quest if you'd like, because i could lead now, but i am pretty sure i never lead back then, considering i LITERALLY was someone's HB mule.

not to mention, back then i tried the PQ witth a friend, we failed, and he couldn't lead now.
