Alchemy fuse items?
#1
Can someone who's played GMST tell me what are the levels of alchemy required to fuse equipment?

Something like "Alchemy level 1 allows you to fuse lv 1-30 equipment". (probably not true)

Real alchemy levels required: [Image: 2pz9zzc.png]

You don't need any minimum level to do anything, it's just that your chance of succeeding increases with your level.
Level 1 alchemy can create lv 120 potions but with a low rate.

not on this case though, to fuse items, it's like this:
level 1: 50-
level 2: 70-
level 3: 90-
level 4: 110-
level 5: 130-

i might have the numbers wrong, but it went like that, every new level adds 20 levels to the level of items you can fuse.

i should know the numbers by heart, seeing how i fused so many goddang level 20 items to be able to fuse the reverse equips, lol, anyways you need either level 5 or 6, can't remember which, ask bryan when he comes back, or... crap, forgot the name >.< the Sp'er with the blue archer avatar.

It's Level 5, yeah. I would estimate that you should be able to get to at least Level 3 Alchemy on the first day's worth of fatigue if you do nothing but fuse low level equips.

(Waiting until Level 6 would have driven me insane in Tespia...)

Thanks for the help!
How long did it take you to get to level 4 alchemy? (including amount of times you maxed fatigue)

It'll probably take about two days worth of fatigue to reach Level 4. I say 'probably' because I'm not taking into consideration the fatigue restored between each hour.

For the record, it costs 3 fatigue to fuse, and you get +60 Alchemy EXP for fusing at Level 1 Alchemy, with the amount going down as your Alchemy level goes up.

I forgot the rate that the EXP went down (probably something like 3-4 per level), and how much EXP you need to get to each level of Alchemy, though.

I'd say that fusing is by far the fastest way to level up Alchemy. Collecting seeds and flowers for potions is a huge pain in the rear, not to mention the fatigue costs associated with trying to collect enough of those seeds and flowers in the first place. And unlike mining and ores, no one is going to have huge stacks of seeds and flowers to use on the very first day of Professions right off the bat.

Yeah, first few levels go 60 exp, 57 exp, 54 exp, iirc.

In that case, i'd need around 70 items to fuse meaning i'd need to stock up on 2 more mules.
Thanks.

Personally I just bought a bunch of level 31 shoes in Henesys, they're not the cheapest but they get 2nd tier potential so (for example) if you're lucky you get 6% dex.

I was going to go fuse hats to get to level 4 alchemy while having a chance to get the door skill. (probably won't happen)
