It's actually a good indication the complete opposite being true when you say anything about maple. You do realise this, right?

Quote:lvl158 => Fck it, it takes weeks now...
lvl160 => Yay, lvl160, I just unlocked an area where I can grind a whole month per few lvls...
lvl160 => Hmmmmmmm, why are there so few ppl here? Sad
Wow, your weeks only have 4 hours in them? Because even the slowest class can level in 4 hours now at 158. Without any potentialed equips. Or cash exp cards.

Also level 160 should be, what why is this area still full? Not that you'd know.

Lol it doesn't take that long to level to 160. Going from 150-160 took about the same time as leveling from 140-150 for me. LHC makes it so easy, plus the constant 2x events make it so you really don't have to grind for long.

actually, and this is pretty funny but, here's mine:

1. a lot on my level 50 chars, it's VERY good exp at those levels, heck, it's where i trained my DB
2. the first three stages have mobs that give craptons of exp at level 100, if you can get a few friends to go with you, it flat out beats training
3. screw it, the guy walks too slow. i used to do it, but just for the mount/earrings
4. singapore sucks
5. new ant tunnel sucks
6 it's actually a decent training place now, and recommended, problem is getting out of there at 70. i noticed the spawn was pretty great when i was destroying the place looking for soul lights.

Devil Wrote:The "problem" where I'm aiming at is that it seems that 99,9% of the players playing this game don't reach that "advancement goal" lvl 160...

I hardly know any people who like ginding in maple after lvl 140, it's just too plain boring because it takes a lifetime, even after big bang, because that only changed the lvling pace from lvl1 to lvl 120...

That's why the lvl 160 cap is stupid... Sure there -are- some people who reach lvl 160 and still enjoy the mindless grinding, but that's only 0,01% of the players.

Maple always had this lvling curve:
lvl90 => Yay, near lvl100!!!
lvl100 => Yay, finally 3 digitis!!!
lvl110 => Yay, nearly 4th job!!!
lvl120 => Yay, 4th job skills!!!
lvl121 => Yay, more 4th job skills!!!

lvl122 => Hmm, more 4th job skills...
lvl131 => Hmmm, maxed my first 4th job skill... yay, I guess?
lvl141 => Hmmmm, maxed my seconds 4th job skill... but it's so booooooring... was it worth the time?
lvl151 => Hmmmmm, maxed my third 4th job skill... geez, what am I doing... this game is boring...
lvl154 => Hmmmmmm, geez, it takes a whole week to lvlup a few lvls...
lvl158 => Fck it, it takes weeks now...
lvl160 => Yay, lvl160, I just unlocked an area where I can grind a whole month per few lvls...
lvl160 => Hmmmmmmm, why are there so few ppl here? Sad

lvl161 => Wait, where did all my friends go? Oh they're playing other games now...
*quit*

So true... and you know it...

>implying leveling to 160 is hard
i get better exp at 15x now than i did at 10x a year ago
By your logic, the only thing nexon should add is level 20 mobs and lvl 10 PQs
Ultimately, the high levels are the one that spend the most time and money on the game, so nexon should obviously cater to them
If you had a store, who would you treat better?, the thousand people who come once a week to spend a dollar, or the one guy who comes everyday spending a thousand dollars?
same logic

Good quality and very informative! Tongue

Totally forgot PvP was part of Chaos patch, since I'm totally bored of maple grinding, I will surely check this out!

Especially since all potential stats are disabled for players below lvl180! Finally equality again! Tongue

Wait...can someone tell me what he's saying? Are you saying that potential items don't work with players under 180? I'm confused a lot now. L> Help. LOL.

wait, what would potential even do in PvP?
Im pretty sure damage doesnt matter in pvp :f6:
Are Decent skills the only applicable thing here?
and even then the only ones i can see being useful are sharp eyes and maybe haste

It obviously does matter.

There are other things that come from potential you know. Invincibility frames, % chance to take half damage, all skills +2...all of that affects your ability to PvP.

1. Did it once, I don't even remember... Never again.
2. 2 days ago.
3. Several months ago, way too slow of a PQ.
4. Does Scar/Targa count? If so, less than a week ago.
5. Two months ago if Normal Balrog PQ counts.
6. Lol. A year?
