Ban Duration on Southperry
#1
I was curious, how long is a temporarily banned user banned from SP?

Is it:

a) a set duration, like 2 weeks?
b) dependent on the point total/severity of infractions?
c) until an infraction expires, thus dropping the number of infractions to a non-bannable level?
d) dependent on the number of bans/infractions accumulated?
e) never consistent?
f) dependent on the mod/admin's mood?
g) other?

Quote:VI. Method of Moderation
Any person that receives 7 infraction points will be banned from this website. Failure to follow any of these rules will result in the number of infraction points added to your own point total as deemed by the type of infraction listed in "Rules" (V). Those that accumulate more than 7 infractions will be tempbanned for 10 days. A full banning is done entirely at the discretion of moderators or administrators.

However, I think there's only a handful of people that have 7+ infractions. Most bans are mod discretion.

So temp bans are always 10 days, and the penalty doesn't get more severe with continuous bans?

There's only one or two people who have been temp-banned more than once...
We can also set temp bans for any period we like, but that's usually for a special case (User requested, etc.)
