Decent Skills pre and post BB questions~? :(

Hi all!

May I ask the GMS players 2 questions? Hope that you can help me answer these questions...

1. Say Character A glitched a decent skill succesfully, eg. Decent HB. After the BigBang patch, was the decent HB skill removed?

2. Say Character B did not have a glitched skill before the patch. After implementation of the BigBang patch, is the glitch still there? (ie, can B acquire a new decent skill)?

Well, this thread should probably have been in the Q&A section, but I'll answer you regardless.

For your first question, no, glitched skills from pre-Big Bang were not removed after Big Bang was implemented; however, I have heard that the skills will be removed if a person were to go and equip an item that was made with the same Decent skill after Big Bang, but not those from before Big Bang.

For your second question, the answer is again, no. The glitch was removed with Big Bang, so to gain the benefits of Decent skills one must have the item on his or her person at all times. If the player wishes to use another item for different benefits while still having the effects of a Decent buff, then he or she has to first put on the armor with the Decent skill, cast the buff, and then equip the other item.

On another note, if you glitched it before hand, wear an equipment that has the skill, then take it off, i do believe the skill disappears?
