Hymmnos

Fou paks ra, diasee, sarrifis hyzik tes dius yor...

"Rig=veda"

Hymmnos is a Language built into Ar Tonelico. A lot of people know this language, but never took the time to read and understand it. It's somewhat complex as it's built upon Germanic, Arabic, and Latin. Yet it's a weird mix and it's taken time to even say my first sentence. (Which is not from a song at all, yet through self teaching.)

Hymmnos is also known as Song Magic in the game, but runs on frequencies and wavelengths. There are examples on the websites, but they ask that you do not take from their website.

This song is an example of a Hymm Song at or below the "NHF" (Natural Human Frequency); NHF is the range and ability a human speaking Hymmnos can speak if it wishes to have an effect, as in game Hymmnos is used for everday life.

Here is an example of a Song above Natural Human Frequencies. As you can tell it sounds nothing like it is spelled, like African languages. Although it has a use of English and Japanese to accompany the song.

Another interesting thing about Hymmnos is that they have 0 use of the space that we use daily. They use _(Under Score) for their spaces. Just an interesting fact if you hadn't realized it already.

Here is the website for the Hymmnos Language. Install it, because you won't be able to see what I can till you do.

I will try and find more ways to learn the language quickly.

So what is your opinion on a fake language made through a video game.

Innovative? Creative? Stupid? Unnecessary?

It's stupid if it's limited to a game. But how intriguing to think it combines three complex languages.

Yet, I don't think you should spend so much time trying to learn/comprehend it, seeing as it holds no value as information. It would be like learning every spell in Harry Potter book series. Useless? Yeah. Fun? In a nerdy way, sure.

The only use for language is communication. Hymmnos offers no advantages over already-existent languages (e.g. English). If something exact needs to be defined, it's possible to create new words and use them in the English language, but making an entirely new language out of a synthesis of pre-existing languages is a waste of time. It's completely pointless and useless, especially for a video game.
