My computer is awesome, Maple doesn't agree (Lag, not internet lag)
#1
My laptop can run Crysis on high, and any other game I've tried at max with no frame rate problems. But I tried to play Maple today and noticed serious lag. Not really when I'm walking or attacking (I think, haven't used skills yet) but it's especially prevalent when I talk to NPCs/do quests. It's not internet lag like the game is still moving while I wait for the window to pop up. The game freezes for a second before the window pops up or whenever I click next or Agree etc.

Any ideas?

NPC Chat is having some lag issues.
Normal clicking doesn't.

Just tested and NPC Chat key definitely is a little slower, but normal clicking is still slow. The problem is alleviated a little when in Windowed mode, atleast, starting an NPC dialog. But pressing answers, for example in a quiz will result in lag for me.

@XTOTHEL: Didn't help

Edit: Just read on lolbasil that since the maintenance patch last week, almost everyone in Windows 7 x64 is having the same problems as me. They also pointed out another (pressing esc lags).

I can confirm this. At least now I know it's the game, not my computer.
