Dexless all luk dit -- Yes or no?

I was discussing with my guild today whether I should stay dexless or not. I explained I'm a newbie and that I had been using guides that were very outdated (waayy before big bang). I didn't realize the difference it made, and a lot of them said that post big-bang a dexless all luk dit doesn't have any advantages over a lowdex dit. I won't have to spend so much money on gear if i went lowdex, and the gear I do buy can benefit me a lot with it's stat bonuses.

Since then I've been torn on whether I should pump dex or not. If I did I'd probably get it to 80 and continue keeping it as low as possible.

What do you think?

You can pote Maple equips.

I agree with lowDEX, but try for a STRless (D)Khanjar user as well. With equips around today, this is a(n) (relatively) easily accomplished task.

I'd stay dexless, getting stats isn't really that hard. If you feel like you have a hard time with DEX, which I think I have too, then you could pump some points into dex. Being low/normal dex wouldn't kill you either.
Some equips:
HTP - 22 STR/DEX
Czak - 21 STR/DEX
Level 17 Ring - 7 STR/DEX
Lilin/Resistance Ring - 3 STR/DEX
Zombie Rings (2) - 2 STR/DEX
Those add up to 80 dex/str by themselves, so it shouldn't be difficult to get any extra stats from earrings, belts, top, bottom, or overalls.

Also, try not to be lazy like me and save up AP for no reason to the point where you don't feel like using them anymore.

HTP is a Horntail Pendant. It's level 120. Price varies server to server.
CZak is a Chaos Zakum Helmet. It's level 100. Price varies also.

In here, a HTP is 130m for a 2-liner, same with a Czak. Level 17 rings are about 220m. Zombie rings are 3m each.

The rings. Get yourself a 100%'d DEX level 20/30 robe for the time being.

CHTP/HTP and CZHelms are usually outside of the normal monies range for most people, especially when it has potential on it. To get these equips you either have to have the right hook ups or spend extreme amounts of money (Scania is in the hundreds of millions). If you want full on dexless, you need to be able to afford such luxuries. If you're just the average mapler like me, You can make do with adding a few points into dex. I have 85(?) base dex and use a MoN instead of a C/HTP.

It's moderatly tricky to start out as totally dexless, you will either be very weak using crappy dexless gear until a high level or shell out huge amount of mesos on godly dexy gear. Me, I am 189 atm, with 0 points in dex. I have high level gear and nothing of my Dex comes from potential, except maybe 5-10 or so points gained from MW and % all stat bonuses. Totally doable but had I done it again, I would probably have saved me some trouble and money and gone with a higher base. It will not be noticable if your base is 25 or 60 in the end.

I can reset my stats at lv 120 if i wanted to with a cash shop item, right? i imagine by 120 i'll have all the funds necessary for godly dex gear, but for the time being it seems really difficult because i am still with my beginner gear.

80 is not that bad and would only be a problem endgame if you are a complete damagewhore and want to maximize every aspect of your character. When we recieved the potential system, and after that the new big bang formulas Big Bang, a few stat points here or there started playing a smaller role than before. Weapon stats combined with the potential bonuses is where the bulk of the power comes from. If you do plan to reset stats later on, know that it will cost you to reset it, 3100 NX per point (unless there is a sale, though that happens maybe 3 times a year).

Yes, I meant use a 100% overall for DEX to keep you company for now. I used one until level 112.
