This is my friend in El Nido. He's an average funded Mechanic with about 15% DEX if I remember correct.

He told me that when he cornered it, a lot of attacks seem to be missing Papulatus (such as Siege Mode). To his experience this run took around five minutes and the other was taking more than six minutes.

For mechs to not miss pap, they need to stand almost as far back as possible, which is roughly in the middle under the clock/time sphere

I don't see how Mechs are OPed, my Evan solos Pap in 2mins and 11 seconds before Chaos update. However he's 154 so yeah, wouldn't expect Mechs to kill it that quickly in their 13x.

I thought that mechs did better with all their summons set up. So why weren't any being used other than the portals in that pap run? :f6:

He's only Lv130.

Accelerator doesn't effect bosses.
Rock N' Shock is decent at pap if you can't KB it constantly
Healing Bot is useless.
Bots N' Tots was used but it's probably only level 1 and it was placed in a terrible spot.
Amplifier is only good in higher levels.

He's probably doing it like that because of the 8 second pap kill video. The mechanic in that video placed his portals there. It's a rather dumb thing to do if your normal attacks can't KB pap as you can see in this video. He gets placed in a TON of situations where KBing pap with normal attacks would help immensely. And even then, if you could KB pap, you'd push him past the other portal too quickly.

Instead of setting it up on the 2nd and 3rd plats, you should really set them on the 1st and fourth platform (counting from left to right). This makes is so that if only your siege mode can KB pap, you can pull off the 5 second siege and still be in a good spot (pap start close to you and end up close-ish to the right portal). You'd then teleport over and you'd find that you still have enough breathing room to attack pap comfortably instead of having pap right on you like in this video.

I find it rather easy to pin Pap in a corner. Set up 2/3rd of Rock N' Shock, kill the first ball thing, set the third down and attack it in the direction you want it to go. I'll typically also set up Rock N' Shock whenever he goes into his shell too, to help keep him in the corner. It's also a nice thing to do since I can only KB the second form with laser too, and keeps it from getting to me. I kill him in <5 minutes with this method now.

Thought people were just ignoring me There's a small area where you won't ever miss (or maybe miss < 5% of the time) and it's roughly in the spot for that video.

As for bot's n tots, set up a portal roughly where you are + one on that platform so you don't waste time walking and stuff. Should be able to set it up and get back during a 1/1

why not just use a laser when pap summons in front of you instead of attacking each one individually

2nd video is much better. no reason to be pulling that funny pomegranate up top when you can stay out of stun / dispel range on bot and corner pap easily between siege, laser, and summons.
